Columbus, OH, November 02, 2026 - GBQ, a Top 100 tax, accounting and consulting firm, is pleased to announce the 50th anniversary of Wade Kozich, CPA, CM&AA, CEPA.
Wade joined GBQ in 1976 after beginning his career with a large Cleveland CPA firm, working closely alongside the firm’s three founding partners, Morris Groner, Jack Boyle and Ron Quillin. He became a Partner in 1981 and was elected Managing Director in 1996, a role he held until 2011. He then transitioned to senior director and launched GBQ’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, which today includes a team of 10 professionals across valuation, due diligence, ESOPs, tax structuring and buy- and sell-side advisory. In 2015, Wade also helped launch Footprint Capital, GBQ’s investment banking affiliate, where he serves as Senior Advisor and chief liaison; since its founding, the group has worked on more than 550 transactions.

Wade earned his B.S. in Business Administration and Economics from California State University-Hayward, after beginning his studies in economics at the U.S. Naval Academy. In addition to his CPA license, he is a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor and a Certified Exit Planning Advisor, and has written extensively and spoken at numerous panels and workshops on transaction advisory topics. As an active member in the community, Wade is a board member for the Association for Corporate Growth and the U.S. Bank Advisory Board
