And while he's had his share of adventures—breaking his left arm six times, consistently sending his golf ball into the water, and meeting his wife after skipping Italian class—he shows us that life is about embracing both the challenges and the lessons along the way.

Zach joined GBQ in 2017 following graduation from The Ohio State University. With nearly 10 years of experience in the audit field, he has had the opportunity to serve a diverse client base, including the manufacturing and distribution, real estate, professional services, and software sectors. Zach's audit experience spans SEC registrants and private companies, where he has contributed significantly to providing attest services. His expertise extends to navigating complex financial situations, such as debt and equity raises, embedded derivatives, business combinations, troubled debt restructuring, foreign currency matters, impairment assessments, and the seamless implementation of new accounting standards.
In addition to his audit experience, Zach is well-versed in internal control consulting services, including SOX compliance. His role extends to the department's quality control team, providing thought leadership and spearheading the implementation of new accounting standards.
