Tim has a simple rule he lives by: Ask a lot of questions, actively listen, and speak up when you don't understand. He feels it shows the person you care, value their perspective, and you learn more about their story. That's why Tim loves working with our clients — he works hard to earn their trust as a valued and dependable tax advisor. That is a priceless skill that both our clients and all of us here at GBQ appreciate. Tim also enjoys the outdoors and backpacking, recently seeing Yosemite, Yellowstone, and Isle Royale.
He knows Columbus' story, as well. He's lived here since he was one year old and met his future wife, Jill, at his last senior dance at St. Charles. They created their own story from that moment — filled with two grown, successful children and their dog, Teagan. Keep writing your story, Tim!

Tim's more than 30 years of experience include a focus on corporate taxation. He also has extensive experience in foreign and international tax-related matters. Tim joined GBQ in 2002 after working as an International Tax Manager for Deloitte. He is a native of Columbus and a graduate of The University of Cincinnati.
Tim serves as GBQ's Director of Tax Services and has served clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail and wholesale distribution. Tim has previous work experience providing international tax consulting and compliance services for a multi-national, privately-held corporation.
He also has extensive knowledge in assisting clients with their domestic tax planning needs. Tim's focus at GBQ is to provide tax consulting for middle market, closely-held businesses and to assist clients with their business planning, compliance and tax examination needs, both in the U.S. and internationally.
Tim serves on the Advisory Board for the Accounting Department at Franklin University and Leader of the GR8 Tax Leadership Committee.
In 2009, Tim was recognized by Columbus Business First as one of Columbus' Forty Under 40 young professionals.
