On an even keel.
Tom is quick to point out: he's a risk manager… not a risk taker. He likes things balanced and holds strong to the philosophy that if you don't get too high in the good times, you won't get too low in the tough ones. It's his level head and humble outlook that make him such an asset to his family (two sons, two daughters, naturally) and his clients alike.
Committed to empowering growth of his community, Tom serves as an Episcopal Retirement Services board member and, alongside his wife, is actively involved in their children's schools.

Tom provides families with financial, investment and life planning advice that helps them achieve their goals. He takes a comprehensive approach to each family’s situation in order to really understand their needs, dreams, goals and concerns before developing strategic recommendations for addressing them. Tom’s particular area of specialization is servicing the needs of corporate executives and small- to medium-sized business owners.
Tom knew since high school that he wanted to be involved with money management. What Tom enjoys most about his work, is its challenging nature—that it can be so different from day to day. Because of that, he finds it to be highly rewarding. He especially enjoys formulating a plan, enacting it and being the one driving the process to benefit current clients and future generations of their families. But he’s really in this business for one reason, “I want to help those families achieve their goals, live out their dreams and make the difference in the world that they sought to make.”
Tom has been in the financial services industry since 1995 and earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2004. For the 10 years prior to joining Gryphon Financial Partners, he was a Vice President and founding member of Lenox Wealth Management. Tom began his career at Merrill Lynch. He has served on the Episcopal Retirement Services Board of Directors since 2010, due to his commitment to improving the lives of older adults. Prior to becoming a busy dad, he also served as a Board Member for the March of Dimes’ Cincinnati chapter.
Tom is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and has a B.S. in Finance and Accounting. He lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, with his wife and four children. Health and wellness are very important to him; he leads by example and stays physically active by coaching youth activities and spending time with his children.
