He does the math every day at GBQ, crunching numbers and making sense of columns and rows.
Shaun is also an award-winning volunteer with Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
His combination of logic and emotion = a great team player. Shaun brings a big-hearted approach to everything he does. Always looking for ideas to either save the firm money, improve its efficiency or to provide better benefits for its employees, Shaun knows that a company is made up of more than just debits and credits-it's made up of people.

Shaun has over 30 years of financial management experience across various industries, including manufacturing, financial services and distribution. In his tenure at GBQ, Shaun has led several firm initiatives, including the implementation of the firm's practice management system, document management system, HRIS, scheduling software and financial reporting systems. He currently oversees the firm's financial reporting and budgeting area, risk management, benefits strategy and has advisory oversight of the Firm's IT Department. Shaun works closely with other areas of operations to make sure internal processes run efficiently.
He began his career, ironically enough, in public accounting at Arthur Andersen, where he worked primarily in the Small Business Assurance area. From there, he worked six years at Advanced Drainage Systems in their financial reporting area before moving on to Bank One, where he worked in the credit card, retail, and equipment lending divisions in various roles over a five-year period. Shaun then became Controller for Cummins Interstate Power, a multistate distributor and servicer of Cummins diesel engines, which at the time was a GBQ client. Upon Cummins Interstate's merger in 2002 with another distributor, Shaun was hired by GBQ as Controller before being promoted to Director of Finance in 2013.
Shaun is active in Central Ohio as Treasurer for the Notre Dame Club of Columbus. He previously served on the Advisory Board for INSIDE Public Accounting.
