He whistles while he works (and races).
Rob is a prolific whistler. However, his talents don't end there. He's also driven cars at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where he clocked in at 157 miles per hour. He races on foot, too. Rob won in his division for the Ohio Triple-T, one of the most challenging triathlons in the U.S. When he's not whistling or racing, Rob likes to climb mountains and do martial arts.
Even though he is an adrenaline junkie, Rob's main priorities are his family and work. He's married to his high school sweetheart, and they have four children. At work, he enjoys offering our clients chief information security officer (CISO) and chief information officer (CIO) advisory services. Keep whistling along, Rob.

Robert has over 20 years of IT experience in both small businesses and large enterprises. He joined GBQ in 2013 as our Director of Information Technology. Since joining the firm, he has completely re-architected the firm's infrastructure, adding resiliency, redundancy and capability at each level.
Robert began his IT career at The Ohio State University, running the student team that supported 19 computer labs and over 100 audio-visual classrooms. He then began working for a small educational consulting firm that sent him all over the world, working for extended periods in Honduras for their Department of Education.
Robert also worked for JP Morgan in their incident response group and spent six years with Sterling Commerce, the largest EDI transaction provider in the U.S. He was responsible for four production data centers and six engineering data centers, including 30 staff located in five major U.S. cities.
Robert has worked with a number of the firm's clients performing infrastructure audits, writing disaster recovery plans and providing CIO on-demand services.
