Mike once rescued a dog from the side of a mountain highway, which may tell you everything you need to know about him. When life is a little less adventurous, he enjoys golfing, fishing, traveling, spending time outdoors, and checking out farmers' markets. He and his wife, Nicole, share their home with dogs, Vino and Norris, and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their daughter, Gigi.

Mike Adolph joined GBQ in 2026 as Director, Practice Growth, bringing more than a decade of experience in business development, relationship management, and strategic growth. In his role, Mike focuses on building relationships with business owners, executives, and referral partners, connecting them with the right accounting, tax, and advisory resources to help address their needs and achieve their goals.
A natural connector and relationship builder, Mike enjoys getting to know clients and understanding what they are working toward. He works with growing businesses across Central Ohio and beyond, helping identify opportunities, solve challenges, and bring the right people to the table. Developing long-term relationships and connecting people with solutions are among the parts of his work he enjoys most.
Before joining GBQ, Mike co-founded Doyle HCM in 2018, where he led business development and helped grow the company from $175,000 in revenue to $14.6 million. During his tenure, the company was recognized by Columbus Business First as one of Central Ohio’s fastest-growing companies for three consecutive years. Earlier in his career, Mike spent six years with ADP, where he developed relationships with accounting firms and businesses throughout the Columbus market.
