Libby Baker may be afraid of heights, but fear isn’t something she lets hold her back, as evidenced by her cliff jumping in Mexico and ziplining in Costa Rica. The Capital University graduate brings that same fearless approach to her work in state and local tax compliance, where she's spent nearly the last decade helping clients navigate the complex world of tax accounting.
When she's not unraveling the mysteries of multi-state tax obligations, Libby might be found exploring new restaurants, staying active around Atlanta with her boyfriend, or enjoying a good Scotch whisky.

Libby re-joined GBQ in 2024 and has more than seven years of experience serving clients in a Federal tax capacity and now specializes in state and local tax matters. Her expertise primarily lies in state and local income/franchise compliance, but she also assists with gross receipts taxes, business licenses, and employer withholding taxes. Apart from a nearly two-year stint at another firm, Libby has spent most of their career at GBQ.
