As the youngest of five, Jeff learned his life lessons pretty early: there are no shortcuts. Move fast. There’s no substitute for hard work. And don’t rat out your brothers.
It prepared him well for his career with GBQ, where he happily accepts the different challenges presented on a daily basis, and enjoys the comraderie of a big team… working alongside the likes of Big Tony, Judo, and Joey Sandwich.
Fun fact: his wife is also the youngest of five.

- Jeff provides a variety of state and local tax services to GBQ’s clients. His practice focuses primarily on indirect taxes, including multistate sales/use taxes and real/personal property taxes. Jeff leads the firm’s unclaimed property service offering, and he also has extensive experience assisting clients with income/franchise tax matters.
Jeff has assisted clients across a variety of industries and has significant experience with multistate tax research, audit defense, refund claims, transaction planning, and tax compliance.
Before joining GBQ in 2011, Jeff earned a law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and worked in a boutique law firm that focused its practice on business taxation, tax planning, and tax controversy.
Jeff has been a frequent presenter for the Ohio Tax Conference, the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, and Strafford Webinars.
