Family first.
Most college kids take a summer job just hoping to come away with a little extra spending cash. Jason hit the jackpot, though — he met his wife while bartending on Put-in-Bay! These days they’re busy raising their two sons, a daughter, and an Airedale Terrier.
Jason’s favorite part of the job is getting to tackle those tough questions clients bring to him throughout the year, and helping to provide guidance on proper recognition or recording of those unique transactions that come up. Away from the office, he’s helped to coach his children’s youth sports teams, and has served as treasurer for a number of civic organizations.

Jason joined GBQ in 2022 to further empower growth of the nonprofit industry through the performance and management of assurance services, including financial statement audits, reviews, and business consulting projects.
Before joining GBQ, Jason spent his career with a local full-service accounting firm, John Gerlach & Company. In addition to his expertise in serving nonprofit organizations of various sizes, he also has experience providing services to clients within the manufacturing and distribution, and professional services industries.
Throughout the community, Jason currently serves as treasurer of the Immaculate Conception Athletic Association. Previously, he served as treasurer of the North Columbus Intramural League and the North Broadway Children’s Center.
