Mr. Dixon joined GBQ in 2019 and is a Manager for GBQ Capital Advisors. He has performed or contributed to over 200 valuation assignments for numerous purposes, including employee stock ownership plans (ESOP), estate and gift taxation, purchase price allocation in accordance with ASC 805, goodwill impairment testing in accordance with ASC 350, fairness opinions, transaction advisory, mergers and acquisitions, buy-sell agreements and other shareholder transactions.
In addition to business valuations, Mr. Dixon provides ESOP and transaction advisory services, including ESOP feasibility studies and sell-side ESOP advisory and consulting.
Mr. Dixon's experience includes business appraisals of entities in numerous industries, including industrial manufacturing, wholesale/distribution, computer software, banking, oil and gas, fabrication, retail, construction, healthcare services, food services, insurance, automotive, advertising/marketing, engineering/architecture, professional services, technology, and holding company/estate planning vehicles.
