After 30 years of marriage and three grown children, Denise is happiest when her home is full of love and laughter. When not dancing in the kitchen, she enjoys the outdoors, especially when it snows.

Denise joined GBQ in 2022, following the acquisition of VZN Group, LLC (VZN), where she provided accounting and business advisory services primarily within the service and nonprofit industries.
With over two decades of experience in public accounting, she has assumed a pivotal role as the leader of GBQ's Client Accounting & Advisory Services practice. In this capacity, Denise offers a wide array of client services, leveraging her extensive expertise. Denise and her team specialize in supporting clients with period-end close procedures, management reporting and analyses, developing internal accounting processes, budgeting, forecasting, and tailoring projects to each client's unique circumstances. As a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Denise empowers clients by providing accounting software setup and assistance.
Denise is driven by a passion for fostering connections beyond the business realm, exemplifying her dedication to building lasting relationships. As an extension of her commitment to GBQ and the industry, Denise is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
