As a high school wrestler, Dan learned an important lesson: The only guarantee in life is that there are no guarantees. It’s that “when you get knocked down, get back up” approach to life — and business — that makes Dan such an invaluable member of the GBQ team.
Ultimately, Dan understands that we’re in the business of helping others. It’s his favorite part of the job, and it’s earned him two five-star awards for his service. When he’s not taking care of his GBQ clients, he’s busy chasing around two Eastside Cincy kids (even though he was born a Westsider).

Dan joined GBQ in 2016 with over ten years of public and private accounting firm experience, providing tax and audit services to various clients. At GBQ, he oversees a variety of tax engagements for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, nonprofits, trusts and individuals. Additionally, he provides accounting, tax compliance and consulting services to small, closely held businesses and their owners.
Throughout his career, Dan has served clients in a wide range of industries, performing financial audits of local government entities across Ohio, as well as companies in the manufacturing and distribution, construction, real estate, and nonprofit industries. His time as a controller for a small sporting goods distribution company gave him great insight into the complex matters that several small to middle-market clients he serves come across.
