Growing up in rural Ohio, Chris learned the value of hard work by spending his summers on the farm, bailing hay, sorting potatoes, weighing pumpkins, and building corn mazes. This serves him well when connecting with and understanding the needs of those in the construction industry.
In his work, Chris embraces the opportunity to work with, and learn from, a lot of smart business owners, and to train and mentor younger associates. He also takes advantage of the carpool lane; his wife, Beth, is a fellow GBQer.
Chris is a two-time Jack Boyle Leadership award winner, Ron Quillin Educator award winner, and three-time winner of both the Client Service and Outstanding Attitude awards.

Chris joined GBQ in 2011 following graduation from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois.
As Partner within the firm's assurance and advisory practice, Chris serves various privately held clients, primarily in the construction and real estate industries. He is also part of the employee benefit plan audit group and has experience directing audits for defined contribution plans.
Chris is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP), the sole accounting certification for construction financial professionals. He is also a 2018 graduate of the Builders Exchange of Central Ohio Rising Leader Institute, in partnership with The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
Chris is also actively involved in the Builders Exchange of Central Ohio, the Association of Builders and Contractors, the Ohio Contractors Association, the Construction Financial Management Association, and the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks.
