Casey loves his community. He grew up in Sylvania and hasn’t moved or lived more than a 12-mile radius of his hometown since then. His father taught him honesty, integrity, compassion, and kindness, all facets of life he’s passed on to his two sons.

Casey enjoys golfing, has played in amateur golf tournaments, and is understandably proud of his Club Champion wins at Highland Meadows Golf Club. He’s married to his high-school sweetheart, and they became first-time grandparents in November 2024.

Casey says that when life is all said and done, he wants to leave this Earth a better place. His father taught him the importance of leaving a legacy. And now, as grandparents, we feel he’s well on his way to doing just that.

    • Casey joined GBQ in 2022, following the acquisition of VZN Group, LLC (VZN), where he provided tax and business consulting services for more than 30 years. In 2000, he was named member and partner at VZN.

      Throughout his career, Casey has had the opportunity to empower growth of clients in several industries, including professional services, real estate, construction and retail.

      Passionate about his community, Casey is an active member of the Sylvania Area Chamber of Commerce, where he has served on the board, including one term as president. In addition to serving as president of the Sylvania Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation, he is an active member of the Sylvania Area Joint Recreation District, the Sylvania Schools Foundation, and the Sylvania Rotary Club. Casey also served as past president of the ProMedica Flower Hospital Operating Board.
