Betty’s spirit is indomitable. From winning two state championships for her high school basketball team to playing on a division one team in college to raising two kids into responsible adults (her son is a real-life rodeo cowboy), Betty has a track record of creating success and it shows in her longstanding client relationships.

Betty joined GBQ in 2020 following the firm’s merger with Weber Clark, Ltd., where she worked in the tax department for over 20 years. Having begun her career with PWC (formerly Price Waterhouse), Betty has extensive experience in taxation and related engagements, specializing in federal, state and individual tax matters. In 2000, Betty earned her Enrolled Agent license, the highest credential awarded by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Enrolled agents are federally licensed tax practitioners with unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Additionally, she is a National Social Security Advisor certificate holder.
Betty is involved in several organizations, including the National Association of Enrolled Agents, the Ohio Society of Enrolled Agents, and The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. Previously, Betty served as Treasurer of the Michigan High School Rodeo Association and the Whiteford Athletic Boosters.
