Upon graduating from The Ohio State University, Beth joined GBQ in 2010 and launched her career in the tax department after obtaining the CPA designation. She attained knowledge and experience working on tax engagements and developing client relationships while expanding her understanding of both GBQ and the public accounting industry, which she continues to be passionate about to this day.
In 2016, Beth transitioned her career and joined GBQ’s Human Resources team, where she focused her efforts on learning and development, continuing professional education, and campus recruiting. Beth attained the firm’s HR leadership role in 2021. She has spent time on initiatives surrounding GBQ’s talent acquisition and development strategies, performance management processes, and employee relations.
Beth is a four-time recipient of GBQ’s Ron Quillin Learning Award, recognizing her dedication to lifelong learning and her service as a mentor and teacher to others within the firm. She is also a recipient of the Jack Boyle Leadership Award, recognizing her actions as an excellent leader and well-rounded business advisor. Columbus Business First also selected her as a 2022 HR Impact Award Honoree, designed to recognize excellence by HR professionals across sectors in Central Ohio.
