Allie Bastian loves dogs, golf, and taxes (in that order). Since starting to play golf at the age of 13, golf has taken her to many places, including Wittenberg University. At Wittenberg, she played on the Women’s Golf team for 4 years and played in two NCAA National Championships. Once the fun of being a student athlete was over, she found herself at a Big Four firm, where she started her career and found her love for taxes. When she’s not doing taxes, you can find her on the golf course or hanging out with her 3 dogs and husband.
At GBQ, Allie provides tax consulting and compliance services for pass-through entities and individuals. Her dedication to excellent client service and expertise makes her a valuable member of the tax team and restaurant, transportation, and logistics industry groups at GBQ.

Allie joined GBQ in 2023 and serves clients in the real estate, restaurant, and transportation and logistics industries. She is an active member of GBQ’s Restaurant Industry Leadership Group, where she draws on her industry experience to support restaurant operators with tax compliance, partnership structuring, and financial reporting.
With nearly a decade of experience, Allie advises clients on complex partnership taxation, investor reporting, and fund-level tax compliance, with particular expertise in real estate funds and operating entities. Before joining GBQ, she held leadership roles in both public accounting and industry, including Tax Manager and Fund Accounting Manager for a real estate investment company. In these roles, she managed large-scale tax engagements, oversaw investor allocations and K-1 reporting, and partnered with accounting and investor relations teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Earlier in her career, Allie worked at a Big 4 accounting firm serving real estate clients nationwide. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Ohio and earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Wittenberg University. Allie is known for her practical approach and ability to translate complex tax issues into clear, actionable guidance.
