Selecting a new or replacement solution or service provider can be a daunting task. Independent execution of the RFP/RFQ process provides Management with unbiased and objective data upon which to base selection of new systems, solutions and providers.
The service starts with a process mapping exercise to document the organization’s practices and workflows, and well as to identify improvement opportunities. The results are used to generate the criteria for the target solution upon which the RFP is developed. The field of candidates is researched and narrowed, with the chosen candidates invited to respond to the RFP. The field is further narrowed based on the responses and the likely contenders emerge. The likely contenders typically provide scripted demos to generate the final set of data for the evaluation. The final deliverable to Management is a report showing how the solutions address the target criteria from the initial exercise.
