This group internet based event will be delivered by members of BDO USA, LLP’s National Assurance and SEC departments in order to provide a lively discussion and respond to questions posed by participants. Specifically, the program will discuss developments during the fourth quarter of 2012 with respect to various topics in accounting and financial reporting. The presentation will be facilitated by accounting experts from GBQ Partners LLC.
This course is designed to build awareness and understanding of recently released or pending technical guidance including:
- Recently released FASB guidance
- Project and proposal stage literature that may have a broad impact on financial reporting
- Pitfalls in implementing new guidance
- Recent and proposed SEC rulemaking
- Other practical considerations
