Komen Columbus Race for the Cure
Since 2006, the firm has been teaming up to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer. The firm sponsors a table at Stefanie’s Champion’s and wGBQ (GBQ’s women’s initiative) brings in a speaker from the Komen Columbus speaker board to educate associates on the topic (last year we had Stefanie Spielman!).
The firm encourages associates and their friends and family to participate in the event. Last year GBQ had 36 runners/walkers participate in the Race, raising over $1,200.
The Komen Race for the Cure Series raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship, and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease.
