Jenny graduated from Wright State University in Dayton,
Ohio in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration and a double major in Accounting and
Finance. After graduation, she moved to Columbus to
work with a large cardiology practice where she worked
her way from bookkeeper to office manager overseeing
many aspects of the practice including: billing, office
redesign, staffing and computer system and software
selection. During that time she also earned her CPA
designation.
In 1993 Jenny joined a small local accounting firm
that specialized in healthcare so that she could broaden
her experience with physician practices. For the past
ten years, Jenny has been involved in all aspects of
practice management and small business development.
She has been heavily involved in practice start-ups
as well as aiding existing practices with billing issues,
staff modeling and selection, project analysis, financial
management, compliance issues, and tax planning. With
her practice management experience and her accounting
background, Jenny brings together the understanding
of the internal operation of a practice with the financial
aspects. In 1999, she expanded her professional skills
by becoming a Certified Professional Coder in an effort
to assist practices with chart auditing and compliance.
She is also a Certified Medical Manager.
Jenny is a member of The Medical Group Management Association,
The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants,
Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Academy of Professional
Coders, and Professional Association of Healthcare Office
Managers. She also has been active in volunteering in
the Hilliard City Schools as well as other activities
involving children.
