Terry and Kristen are affiliated with Sagemark Consulting, a division of Lincoln Financial Advisors, a national financial planning organization. Their practice is specifically designed to assist affluent clients and closely-held businesses address complicated financial issues. Areas of specialty include estate and business succession planning, investment planning, charitable planning, and employee compensation planning.
Kristen began practicing in 1977. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Capital University School of Law. In 1985 she received her Chartered Life Underwriter(CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant(ChFC) designations, and received her Certified Financial Planner(CFP) certification in 1992.
In 2002, she was inducted into the Sam A. Chickerella “Hall of Fame” sponsored by the Society of Financial Service Professionals in Columbus, Ohio.
Kristen is a member of the Columbus, Ohio and Ohio State Bar Associations. She is a Past President of the Columbus Chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals, Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Columbus, Inc. and the immediate past Chair of the Board of Directors of Goodwill Columbus. Her other community involvement includes being a trustee on the Harry C. Moores Foundation Board, Chair of the Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services Foundation Board of Directors and a member of the Catholic Foundation Charitable Giving and Tax Advisory Committee. She was recently recognized by the Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services Foundation with their National Philanthropy Day Award.
Terry has been in practice since 1981. He is a graduate of the University of Toledo. He received his Certified Financial Planner(CFP) certification in 1986, and received his Chartered Life Underwriter(CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant(ChFC) designations in 1991.
Terry is a member of the Society of Financial Services Professionals, a national organization that serves as the standard bearer for excellence in professionalism, advanced continuing education, and ethical guidance for the nation’s top financial advisors. From 1991-95 Terry served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Columbus Chapter of that organization, and in 1996-7 served as President of the Board. He is a Chartered Qualifier for The American College’s Professional Achievement in Continuing Education (PACE), and has served as external faculty for The American College.
In addition to his professional service, Terry has served as a member of Advisory Committees for the Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services and the Central Ohio Breathing Association. He has also served as Deacon of his church, and is currently a Trustee on the Board of Directors for the Columbus School for Girls.
