Bob graduated from Miami University, Oxford, in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. After
graduation, he began his public accounting career as
an auditor with KPMG in Columbus. He
joined GBQ in 1999.
Bob serves as a director of GBQ's health care and long term skilled nursing practice.
He has worked extensively in the healthcare industry
and developed an expertise with Medicaid and Medicare
reimbursement for long-term care facilities. Bob works
directly with owners, administrators, and chief financial
officers in assisting them with reimbursement compliance,
cost reporting and maximization. He is also responsible
for the supervision of audits and other accounting services
primarily for long-term care facility clients. He is
the former Reimbursement Committee Co-Chair for a state-wide
long-term care facility trade association and has presented
many reimbursement seminars.
Bob is a member of the American Institute and Ohio
Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has been
involved in many community service activities including
Treasurer of the Central Ohio Miami University Alumni
Association, high school council member and youth leader
for First Community Church, and a Columbus Zoo fund
raising campaign volunteer.
