Scott graduated from Otterbein College in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting.
He began his career with Winterset CPA Group and then spent seven years in the Columbus
office of the regional firm Schneider Downs and Company. Scott joined GBQ at the
beginning of 2008.
Scott has had significant experience providing tax compliance and tax planning services
to closely held businesses and their owners. Scott's experience includes serving
clients within the construction, real estate, professional service and automotive
industries. His experience also includes assisting with cost segregation studies
and various multi-state/city compliance engagements.
Scott is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the
Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Builders Exchange of Central Ohio
and the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). He is also a 2005
graduate of the Leadership Columbus program.
