Rich is originally from Northeast Ohio and moved to
Columbus in 1990. A graduate of Youngstown State University,
Rich spent over ten years working for Ernst & Young and one year as tax director with Symix, a publicly-held computer
software developer. Rich joined GBQ in 1995.
Rich has served clients in a wide variety of industries
including professional service organizations, law firms, manufacturing,
technology, retail and wholesale/distribution, and construction.
His special area of emphasis has been tax planning and
consulting for middle market, closely-held, and entrepreneurial
companies. Rich also has considerable experience in
providing planning services to high net worth individuals,
state and local tax compliance and planning, and the
taxation of computer software developers and international
transactions.
Rich is a member of the American Institute and Ohio
Society of Certified Public Accountants, and The Lakes
Golf and Country Club.
