Darci Congrove is a Director in GBQ Partners' tax department.
Prior to joining the Firm in 1998, Darci worked in the tax
practice of Crowe Chizek. Darci is
a two-time graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with
a Bachelor of Science in Business (1990) and a Master of
Accountancy with an emphasis in Taxation (1991). Her client
base is diverse, but includes primarily closely-held
businesses and their owners, real estate companies and not-for-profit
organizations, for all of whom she performs a wide range of tax
planning and compliance services, as well as general business
consulting.
Darci is a member of the Ohio Society and American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants. She is actively involved in several
women's business organizations, serves as Treasurer of the Advisory
Board of the Family Business Center of Central Ohio, and is Secretary
of the Board of Trustees for the J. Ashburn, Jr. Youth Center. D
arci is a member of the United Way of Central Ohio's Young Leadership
Group, for which she is currently serving Co-Chair. Darci graduated
from the Leadership Columbus program in June 2003 and was named by
Business First as one of Columbus' Forty Under Forty young professionals
in 2002. She frequently speaks in the community on topics of tax
and family wealth planning.
