Paul began his career in public accounting with GBQ in 1979,
first having received a degree from the University of Evansville
(Indiana). Paul has a diverse background that includes significant
experience with manufacturing companies. Paul leads the assurance
engagement as well as consulting with clients on a wide range of
issues including operational reviews, internal controls, debt
compliance, equity and debt financing, information technology,
succession planning, working capital management and plant and
equipment acquisition planning. Paul is a senior member of GBQ's
leadership team and is involved in all major decisions regarding
client acceptance, staffing, quality control and training.
As Director of GBQ's assurance practice he is responsible
for the maintenance of the firm's quality control standards
and applying current accounting and auditing pronouncements.
Paul also conducts external peer review services of other public
accounting firms. Paul recently celebrated his 25-year service
anniversary with GBQ Partners.
Paul is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
In addition, he is active in several community organizations,
including serving previously as President of the Board of Directors
of the Columbus Speech and Hearing Center and Treasurer of First
Community Church. Currently, Paul is a member of Columbus Rotary,
the Governing Board of First Community Church, Board of Directors
of First Community Village, Treasurer of Columbus Sister Cities
International, Inc. and Treasurer to the Board of Directors of the
Rosemont Center.
