Community Activities
It’s not enough to simply do well in business. We do good, too.
Since our inception, one of our core values has been to be deeply involved in giving back to our community. We strive to provide an environment that encourages cooperation, life balance, and giving back to the community in which we live and work.
We believe in the importance of giving back to the community and making a difference in the lives of others. In 2012, the firm and our associates contributed considerable time and money to over 60 non-profit organizations. Some of the recipients included:

With 4 teams, GBQ raised $1,310 and had a blast along the way.

The Bike Lady provides NEW bikes, helmets and locks to the Franklin County Children Services Holiday Wish program. In 2012, GBQ donated enough money for 125 bikes.

Believing in the importance of family-owned businesses to our Central Ohio community, GBQ has supported the Conway Family Business Center over the past 10 years.

Since 2007 GBQ associates gave up their tradition of a Thanksgiving ham in order to donate the money spent to feed families in need.

GBQ volunteers helped pick and deliver fresh vegetables at the Kitchen Garden for the local shelter.

For over 16 years GBQ associates have donated time & money to purchase Christmas gifts for less fortunate children in Central Ohio.

GBQ associates volunteered at LifeCare Alliance with their Fresh Fridays, stocking the pantry and serving meals in the kitchen.

GBQ associates volunteered at one of the food pantries with stocking and organizing shelves and assisting customers shop.

GBQ has been a key sponsor to Make-A-Wish of Central Ohio's “Big Wish” silent auction dinner and other events throughout the years.

GBQ held their 8th annual blood drive in 2012. Associates had Red Cross set up in the Training Room to donate.

In 2002 GBQ began a campaign to collect pop tabs to benefit the families of the Ronald McDonald House. Pop tabs may be small...but they can make a big difference.

GBQ’s involvement with The Women’s Fund has grown over the past five years as we have seen an increase in our associates’ passion for the organization.

GBQ has been involved with United Way in varying degrees for over 30 years.

GBQ associates helped to renovate the downtown Columbus location.
